Recently I got involved in Geocaching, and for those who know what this is, my handle is “Dranoweb” (what else would I use?). I needed something to say “I was here” and give something with a bit of history and value. So I invented Dranoweb Unofficial Geocoins. As the cost of official Geocoins was too high for the volumes I wanted, I began to produce my own, on my little Chinese laser cutter. Then I decided they needed some way to track the travels of each coin. So naturally I started a forum. I left it open so people don’t have to go through all the fuss of registering etc. I will manufacture these for others for an economy price, and to a custom design/finish. At the time of writing, there were around 100 coins in circulation, but I am making more regularly.
