In this project, we will be exploring some interesting aspects of technology and also the quirks of both animal and human psychology.

For those concerned, we will not be causing these animals any harm.

This project will take some time to become fully completed, as we have only acquired some of the materials needed.

The Concept:

Ideas are abundant here at Dranoweb, but many get discarded or stolen from us. This one required money and so no one saw sense in stealing it.

The plan is to outfit this newly constructed, all aluminum, guinea-pig cage with IR illuminated wireless cameras. We will then stream these images to the web on a real time basis. The times that this is available will depend on our local server's status, as we will be unable to stream live images when this is not running.

We hope to be able to allow still frame capture but this may not eventuate as time is not in abundance for these projects. We will however create provisions for comments and discussions.

On regular occasions we may place objects in the cage in view of the camera in order to assess the guinea pig's behavior and response to the object. In addition to this we may keep a record of these observations here and we will also take some suggestions if appropriate.
